All of my time has been consumed by freelance work, and finishing the basement. I am hoping to have some great progress photos this weekend to share. Obviously we are on a tight timeline with the delivery of the babies due in late June.  The bar/theater will be a great in-home hetaway for us once the kids are here and will be a dream come true for my 2 years of planning that went into its design. As you can se from the early renders its going to be sweet.

I am also getting excited about working on the baby rooms with Stacy. we have some creative thoughts and I will post them up as soon as i have some photos.

We used close to 8 tons of rock, two trees, 100 yards of landscape fabric, 14 aluminum low-voltage lights, around $1500 worth of plantings, close to 400 linear feet of concrete curbing, 12 torches, 1 new firepit, 3 pieces of replacement siding (due to a certain grill being slightly too close to the house) and a slew of new patio furniture. I am sure I am missing something, but that is a majority of it. Thanks goes to all who had a hand in it especially Stacy who toiled with me many nights working hard to get this done.

 Once we got into the southern swing of things all went well. We made a few stops downtown South Beach through the week. Stacy did some shopping for shoes of course and we got some pics at Miami Ink. We we going to do the club scene but the long lines kept us away. We did manage to spend a nice night out at Nikki Marina on Friday followed by a formal night out on Saturday at Timpano Italian Chop House in beautiful downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Awesome food, great atmosphere and live Jazz music. It was definetly something we need to do more of. We completed the evening by heading to Justin Timberlake’s bar & lounge in downtown Aventura, Florida called ‘Justin’s‘. it was a great time.

Our trip home wouldn’t have been complete without having met Clinton Portis of the Washington Redskins in the airport in Ft. Lauderdale.

it was an awesome vacation and we are looking forward to our next beach outing to Rivera Maya in Mexico in August.

Well another year is in the books and we have alot to be thankful for. 2007 saw us purchasing our second home, doing well in our careers and enjoying time with friends and family.

We celebrated ringing in the new year at the Campbell’s house in Reading. All of our friends were there and we had a great time as always. We also saw Stacy and her great friend Jagermeister parting company. It seems they will no longer be close or even friends from this point on. ‘Sneaky Pete’ may replace ‘Jager’ in the distant future…. I repeat distant. Hehe.

This is the time for New Years resolutions, and I will be no exception. Next time you see me I hope that there is less to see.

 Stacy has a few races along with a half marathon coming up which will be fun. Check out the photos from New Years Eve!

We had an action packed last week. Thursday and Friday I was in Pulaski hitting up the salmon and steelhead while Stacy was home having a party Saturday morning Stacy ran her first 5K! She finished 500th out of 1150 runners which is awesome. She looked great coming down that finish line! Brittany also ran with Stacy and finished 369. It was for a great cause and Stacy said she enjoyed it all. She’s now getting ready to train for the Turkey Trot in Bethlehem around Thankgiving.
